Our Story Our story began over seventeen years ago, when we planted the first 14 ha of pineapple in Pital, located in the North Region in Costa Rica. The logo was inspired by the beauty of the rainbow that always appears in the same place over our packing house. In 2005, through a partner exporter, we reached our goal and we made our first exportation to UK. Since 2006, our quality has been a growth driver. The market wanted more fruit with our high quality and that pushed us to grow. Times changed, and our main buyer was no longer in business; this forced us to make decisions about our strategy and we decided to start exporting directly, which meant we would need to have more facilities and also build our own packing house. As part of our direct export strategy, we took the task of knowing the market around the world, and we decided to start this incredible journey hand in hand with PROCOMER, being our first trade show: Fruit Logistica, at Berlin. In this year we also made our first exportation to England! During these years we participated in different fairs such as: Asia Fruit Logistica, Mac Fruit Italy, Fruit Attraction Spain, PMA USA and CPMA Canada; and trade missions in Europe, Asia, USA, Morocco, South America and the Caribbean; and we started exporting to many countries. We were part of Costa Rica-China Export Launch, here we participate with 20 containers and the official trading mission. The process of remodeling the packing house took about a year and a half of work with an interdisciplinary design team, which included: collaborators, engineers and stakeholders; this allowed us to create integral solutions hand in hand with sustainability. We have reached our goal! With a lot of hard work, the team managed to place 2 million boxes in the different markets where we sell our delicious pineapple. Our brand image was renewed and became our corporate brand to give way to new brands within a branding proposal to different targets. We love our brands! It allowed us, as a team, to empathize with our co-workers and their families, it brought us together in difficult moments. We had to face new challenges and it made us more confident in our abilities and skills as a company, which allowed us to start offering packaging services to other producers. Now we are stronger! Our purpose is to cultivate a prosperous future for our company and our stakeholders. We know the work of the field, its implications, risks and opportunities.
